2.2 Material and DesignProducts may be made from materials such as:- Heavy-duty seatbelt webbing- Heavy-duty mesh- Hardware such as D-rings, buckles, clips and GPS protectors when selected
2.3 Colour, Sizing & AppearanceWhile we do our best to display products accurately:- Colours may appear differently depending on screen/monitor settings- Slight variation may occur between batches of material- Measurements are approximate and may have minor manufacturing tolerances
2.4 Custom & Made-to-Order ItemsFor custom items (e.g. name plates, colours, GPS protector options, sizing):- You are responsible for providing correct details (e.g. neck size, dog name spelling, colour choices)- We are not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied by you- These items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns

3. PRICING, PAYMENT & PROMOTIONS

- All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
- Prices may include or exclude GST depending on your location and our obligations. Any applicable taxes will be shown at checkout where relevant.

4.2 Order Changes (Made-to-Order Products)For made-to-order or customised items:- You may have up to 24 hours from the time of order placement to request changes (e.g. size, colour, name text), unless stated otherwise- After this period, your order may already be in production and changes may not be possible
4.3 Order Cancellation- Standard in-stock items may be cancelled prior to dispatch where possible- Made-to-order/custom items may not be cancellable once production has started- If cancellation is permitted, refunds will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy
4.4 Wholesale & Bulk OrdersFor wholesale or bulk orders:- Minimum order quantities apply- Specific terms regarding pricing, payment, lead time, and returns may be agreed upon in writing separate to these Terms- In the event of conflict, the written wholesale agreement will take priority for that relationship

5.1 Processing Time- In-stock items are generally processed within a reasonable timeframe (1-3 business days)- Made-to-order/custom items require additional production time before shipping (1-3 weeks)- Estimated time frames may be provided but are indicative only
5.2 Shipping MethodsWe typically use third-party carriers such as:- Australia Post- Couriers as chosen by us, depending on your location and order
5.3 Delivery Estimates- Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and may vary by region, weather, peak periods, and external factors- We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control
5.4 Authority to Leave & Missed Deliveries- If you select “Authority to Leave” (ATL), responsibility for the parcel transfers to you once the carrier records it as delivered- If a delivery is missed or you fail to collect from the post office or depot, any re-delivery or return fees may be your responsibility
5.5 Risk & Ownership- Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you once the carrier records the item as delivered to the address you provided- Ownership of the goods transfers upon full payment
5.6 Incorrect Address or Non-Delivery- You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address- If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address or unclaimed parcel, re-shipping costs may be charged to you

6.2 Change of Mind- Standard non-custom products may be considered for change-of-mind returns at our discretion, within a set timeframe (e.g. 14 days from receipt), provided they are unused, unworn and in original condition with tags- Custom and made-to-order items are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns
6.3 Condition of Returned ItemsTo be eligible for return (where accepted), items must:- Be clean, unused and unworn- Not show signs of dogs having worn or used the item (no fur, dirt, smells, damage)- Be returned with original packaging where possible- Items showing signs of significant wear or damage may be rejected for return.
6.4 Faulty or Defective ItemsIf you believe a product is faulty:- Contact us promptly with photos and a description of the issue- We may request the item be returned for assessment- If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we may offer repair, replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate- Damage due to misuse, neglect, chewing, incorrect sizing, or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault.
6.5 Incorrect Item ReceivedIf you receive an incorrect item:- Notify us within a reasonable timeframe- The incorrect item must be returned to us (we will advise the process)- Once received and confirmed, we will send the correct item or offer another remedy in line with our policies
6.6 Wear and Tear Working/hunting dog equipment is subjected to harsh conditions. Over time, you can expect:- Discolouration from sun, dirt, water, and use- Rust or wear on metal hardware where exposed to moisture and not dried- Fraying or wear on fabric/webbing from rubbing or biting- These are considered normal wear and tear and not grounds for a refund.

7.3 Inspection & MaintenanceYou agree to:- Regularly check collars, breast plates, leads and hardware for signs of wear or damage- Replace items that show any concerning damage, fraying, cracking, or broken hardware- Avoid using damaged items in working, hunting or high-stress environments
7.4 Use in High-Risk ActivitiesWhen used for hunting, working dogs or rugged terrain:- You acknowledge the increased risk of damage or failure under extreme conditions- Cape2Cane is not liable for any injury, escape, loss, or damage arising from the use of our products in such activities, except where required by law
7.5 No Professional Training Advice- Our content, product descriptions, or suggestions are not a substitute for professional dog training or behavioural advice- Always seek help from qualified professionals when needed
